Hb Lugano Center Hotel

The location was fantastic! We were just a short walk from the train station and had easy bus access right outside. The kids especially loved the continental breakfast, and we appreciated the tickets that helped us save on local attractions. Perfect for our family with two babies!

The hotel was a fantastic base for enjoying a nice enough area, very close to downtown sights and resturants as well as the train station and shopping. It was easy to get Wheelchair Accessible room with a bathtub and extra bed and a good size bathroom and that's great. The location was good - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

The location was particularly good and unbeatable there, near the trainstation. I enjoyed looking at city from the window of the triple room.

Convenient location near the train station but street noise was quite disruptive at night. Enjoyed the lovely balcony view from my room.

A short stroll into Lugano, use the funicular back as its uphill, the train station is only 5 mins away, and there is a nice restaurant just across the road, which serves good food and very friendly staff. The hotel is basic but good value and close to Lugano, which is beautiful.

Request a room away from the street for a quieter stay, especially if you're sensitive to noise.

The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the train station and the funicular to monte san salvatore, which you have to visit! My room was spacious, with a lovely balcony view. The staff were helpful. I also loved the free public transportation options provided with the ticino card.

Price was quite steep for what we got - buffet breakfast was pretty basic.And why when you ask for a double room can't you get a double bed? Don't like leaving the key in an area available to all patrons - not a good feeling of security

Perfect location just 3 minutes from the train station. The hotel provided Ticino tickets, saving us money on local attractions. The continental breakfast was great for the price, and the staff were helpful throughout our stay. The room had a nice balcony with a lovely view, but the pillows were too soft for my liking. The bathroom needed a proper curtain to avoid water getting everywhere. A solid stay for what we paid, but the loud road noise was a bit disruptive at night.

The location is the best this hotel has.

Extremely noisy as it is located in the main street. It does not have air conditioning but you cannot sleep with the windows open because of the noise. The windows are not sound-proof neither so it was difficult for us to sleep.

Nice clean room with a private bathroom and shower. It had a tv, free toiletries, and a desk. The staff was helpful, and the WiFi worked fine. Breakfast was self-service with coffee, decent. They offer a cool Ticino Pass for public transport and discounts at attractions. I enjoyed my stay!

The hotel is cold, not in temperature, but in everything else. It is unfriendly in almost every way. Cannot complain, everything worked. The staff responded as they should, but never smiled, never looked you in the eye. Breakfast unimaginative, none of it nice, all of it good enough. Rooms coldly decorated, no imagination, the supposed renovation has happened, but not done well, and not quite completed, finishing touches will never be done. Poorly located and noisy. Cannot complain but I will never recommend this hotel or stay at it again.

Maneger is nice person. He is Hilarious and kind. The location is very good, so close to the station. It has wireless internet. I like the balcony in our room.

The breakfast is so poor. The room key does not work well.
